INTRODUCTION :

Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad U.P. was established under the guidance of law experts, eminent educationists and social workers for the development of education in wide areas as per provisions of the Constitution of India. Government of Uttar Pardesh, registered the Parishad for propagation and development of distance education on the pattern of Open & Distance Education System on 24 September 1984, vide file No. 7231 (M) and registration No. 821. A building of Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad U.P is under construction in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow on 25 Acr Land.

The Parishad, under Government of India Act 21-1860, is Legal and Voluntary Institution and has legal right of teaching & training under the provision of constitution. Copies of Bylaws, prospectus, etc. are sent to the various Authorities and Departments of the Government of India/State Governments and Union Territories by the Parishad from time to time.

The area of operation of the Parishad is wide and extensive all over India. Centres of examination are situated in almost all major cities of India where annual examinations are normally organized every year in May/June & December. Parishad is planning to open study and examination centres for foreigners and non-resident Indians in various parts of the world.
